1. Preheat oven to 450 F.
2. Place ready rolled piecrust into pie plate. Prick bottom with fork and crimp edges with fingers.
3. Bake 10 minutes or until golden brown.
4. Cool crust completely.
5. Add 1-cup brown sugar, flour, butter and walnuts to large mixing bowl. Beat until crumbly.
6. Arrange half of the apple slices on bottom of piecrust.
7. Sprinkle remaining brown sugar on apple slices. Arrange remaining apple slices into shell.
8. Top apple slices crumb mixture.
9. Reduce oven to 350 F.
10. Bake 1 hour or until golden brown. |
